Publication standards

What are the general conditions?

• A maximum of 6 signatories will be accepted per work, regardless of authorship order.

 • You can participate as a signatory in a maximum of 3 presentations.

• When submitting works, the signatories commit to fulfilling the ethical principles of Scientific Integrity and best practices: https://www.csic.es/es/el-csic/etica/Integridad-cientifica-y-buenas-practicas.

• When using images in posters, compliance with article 3 of the Organic Law 1/1982, of May 5, on Civil Protection of the Right to Honor, Personal and Family Privacy, and Image Protection will be required.

• For the corresponding authorship certificate, all members of the work must be registered for the event.

What structure should the work have?

The work proposal should have the following structure:

1.Text written in Spanish or English (one language only).

2.Title: Clearly and briefly reflected (maximum 15 words).

3.Authorship: Indicate the surnames of the authors with their initials.

4.Center: Where the professional works.

5.City. Province. Country.

6.Contact email

7.Content

        a. Abstract of a maximum of 300 words with 3-5 keywords.

        b. Introduction. Briefly summarize the content of the work.

        c. Objectives: Write the general and specific objectives.

        d. Development: description of the initiative, experience, protocol, or project.

        e. In the case of research work.

       i. Methodology: Describe the sample or population studied and the types of methods used. ii.                      Results: Express the main results.

      f. Conclusions: Express the main contributions.

 8.   Oral communication presentation:

Once the communications are accepted, the organizing team will evaluate them and may designate one of them for oral presentation, which will be recorded for display. The video recording of the communication will be a maximum of 5 minutes and can be sent via WeTransfer to the email isic@samu.es.

The lead author of each communication will respond in real-time to questions from those attending virtually at the event.

  9.  Presentation of poster communication.

       • The poster will be vertical with a maximum size of 120 cm height x 90 cm width.

       • The poster will be sent in PDF format with the institution’s logos at the top

       • Each poster will be identified with the title, first author, and registration number.

       • It will be presented on a virtual panel in a carousel format activated for this purpose on the                        event platform.
